It was my first time attending a wake that actually belongs to my family member... Yes.. My grandma passed on on the 8th August 2009, Eve of National Day... The news came as a sudden shock for my family, for she still seemed well a few days before that...

But at least she lived to a ripe old age and had lots of children and grandchildren...My memory of her was a very sweet and nice granny, who always cooked the best roasted duck and wrapped the best dumpling. I would always look forward to visiting her every CNY and she would always say i've grown taller... And always would hurry me to find a bf... And i would juz nodnod and sit quietly in a chair sipping her ever lovely dessert...

The wake lasted for 3 days and we saw her to the crementation area this afternoon... I saw a lot of tradition and also saw stuffs which i have never seen before... No wonder pple say wake is tiring but its not about not getting any sleep, its physically tiring... Now i understand why too...

Anyway its kind sad but its the 1st time i have seen some of my cousins, and some of them remmeber mi by my name but not my face... Imagine i see them on the streets and we can walk past each other like strangers.. Wow.. Kinda scary. I also got to see my aunts, some of which i also have not seen for many years... I guess each of us were busy with our own lives... But I can see that actuually they are quite familar with each other... Is it because of our age gap? Or was it that perhaps we nv tried to bond with the big sis? Lol.. C'mon i dun even have them in my facebook LOLZ... But i realise that we do enjoy doing the same things like... MJ.. KTV blah blah... But somehow yah i guess the topics nv do really match...

But one interesting thing was that i nv expected one of my cousin to have such a business man alike thinking at the age of 15. Imagine talking bout NLP at 9am is morning.. Talking bout goals, talks by famous pple and wine appreciation. lolz. GooDs For hIm! make me so proud of hiMzZ!

Anyway the event is over. even though she is no longer around, but rest assure you will always be in my heart~
